Owned by the Karren family, Terra de Promissio (“Land of Promise”) is a 50 acre vineyard in the Sonoma Coast AVA where some of the most prestigious Pinot Noir grapes in Sonoma are grown. Today, Terra de Promissio has become one of the most iconic places to grow Pinot Noir grapes in California.
The 2018 Terra de Promissio Pinot Noir is our first ever vintage from this renowned vineyard and we are thrilled to bring this wine of exceptional heritage and quality to our collection.

Tasting Notes
Bright ruby red in the glass, with aromas of strawberry, dark cherry, and citrus with a hint of pepper. On the palate, an elegant texture is layered with complexity including red berries,
dried herbs and citrus peel. Well-balanced with smooth tannins and measured acidity, along with a hint of earthiness.
Winemaker Notes
2018 saw dry, but unseasonably warm winter months until mid-February, when the much-needed rain began. Ideal temperatures and
rainfall led to synchronized vegetative ripening through June. Cooling influences in June led to looser grape clusters and some millerandage,
which allowed better phenolic ripening and greater vine balance.
