Gold Tier Wines
Vibrant vineyard blends that express the full-blown beauty of the appellation: expressive, balanced, and quintessentially Sonoma.
The 2018 Dutton Ranch Chardonnay is fresh, lively, and fun to drink. Honeysuckle, white rose petal, lemon meringue, and white flowers delight on the nose while crushed white rose petal, Bartlett pear, honeydew melon, and Meyer lemon fill out the palate for a balanced, full-bodied, Chardonnay.
Pale straw, aromas of lemon curd, key lime and pineapple rind. Key lime and lemon meringue flavors mingle with white peach and a pleasing salinity reminiscent of sea spray and oyster shell.
The bright ruby red color hints at the red raspberry, fresh red plum and wild cherry aromas with notes of white pepper and rose petal. The red plum, cherry and strawberry on the palate are complemented by orange peel, white pepper and a note of salinity. The overall effect is clean, crisp and brightly fruit-driven Pinot Noir with everything in balance.
Subtle new oak notes with bright Bing cherry, white pepper and clove. On the palate, cranberry, pomegranate and red raspberry wrap together with spiciness that is classic to the region. The wine is lush, mid-weight and has a long finish.
This full, smooth Cabernet Sauvignon offers a deep, plummy nose with a touch of pepper. The palate is beautifully balanced with rich blackberry and plum, overtones of sweet vanilla oak and a hint of tar. The elegant tannins and mouthwatering acidity will support 10-12 years of cellaring.
