Dried plum and bright cranberry highlights are expertly balanced with a hint of earthiness for balance. On the palate, lush, soft tannins marry with strawberry-rhubarb pie, muddled cherries, white pepper, and wet stone.
Grown along the rolling hills that slope elegantly down towards Monterey Bay, the grapes for our 2019 Monterey County Pinot Noir benefit from a long growing season, bright California sunshine, and a cool coastal breeze. The "diurnal shift," or daily fluctuating temperatures, ensure the vineyards get plenty of ripening during hot days and are allowed to rest throughout the cooler, even nights.
