Tasting Notes

This Chardonnay is rich, viscous, and weighty with a lingering finish. Big aromatics on the nose, with notes of lemon, citrus, lemon peel, pear and stone fruit. The palate is fresh and rich with flavors of Bartlett pear, Gravenstein apple, peach pit and green melon. This crisp, aromatic wine is a perfect food pairing partner.

Production Notes

Grapes were hand-sorted and whole clusters were gently pressed into French oak barrels. The wine was barrel-fermented with native yeasts and underwent 100% native malolactic fermentation. It was aged sur lie in French Oak for 17 months with frequent battonage through primary fermentation.
