Sonoma Coast AVA
Encompassing about 2,000 vineyard acres, the rugged Sonoma Coast AVA stretches from the northern coastline of Sonoma County to the west, slightly overlapping the coolest sections of the Russian River Valley and Los Carneros. The appellation is defined by direct daily influence from the Pacific, the vineyards of the northern reach planted on high ridgelines just a few miles from the ocean. Our Chardonnay grapes benefit from cooling coastal fog that enhances acidity while warmer parcels planted above the fog line contribute ripe tropical fruit notes.
A complex wine with red berries, black plum and flower petals supported by darker notes of dried herbs, cedar, clove, allspice, dried citrus peel and forest floor. Full-bodied with stony minerality and grippy tannins.
The aromas are rich and concentrated with dark blue fruit and plum layered over dark chocolate and peppery oak. The palate is powerful and intense with layers of blackberry, roasted coffee and hints of bacon.
This is a full-bodied Pinot with an elegant array of rich, bold aromatics and flavors: cloves, white pepper, red fruits and forest floor. This wine can hold up to richer dishes thanks to the excellence of the vintage.
Pale straw, aromas of lemon curd, key lime and pineapple rind. Key lime and lemon meringue flavors mingle with white peach and a pleasing salinity reminiscent of sea spray and oyster shell.
